THE PHAKAMISA EDUCARE PROJECT
The Phakamisa Project ministers to children in the Pinetown and Marion Hill informal settlements on the outskirts of of Durban on the East coast of South Africa. Their Ministry involves the training and support of pre-school ‘teachers’ who give lessons, sometimes in outdoor conditions under a tree.
OUTREACH
Glenda Howeison, who is co-ordinator of the project, has visited us here at Trinity, and Pam and David Redfearn, church members, have in turn visited the project when in South Africa.
