This year we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the coming together of the three non-conformist chapels in the village.
There is a lot going on throughout the year so please ensure you have a programme of events which includes special services.
There are events to look forward to every month! Our monthly newsletters will include the Anniversary events as well as our usual services and activities.

About Trinity Church
The History of the church is short. In 1967 there were three non-conformist churches in Honley; High Street Methodist, Southgate Methodist and Moorbottom Congregational.
During that year the British Council of Churches instituted a project called “The People Next Door” . This brought members of the three churches closer together in house group fellowships and provided the impetus for the unification which was to follow
In December 1968 it was agreed (with only two votes against) that the churches should unite and that the premises at Moorbottom would be most suitable for the new church.
On Sunday September 7th 1969 there was a service of covenant and Commitment at Trinity Church.
The Church still has many members who were founder members of Trinity Church and new members are always welcome.
We are an active church and you will find details of the many activities on the following pages. A monthly newsletter is available and if you would like to look at the latest copy please click on the appropriate link.
We are always pleased to have visitors, so if you are in the area on holiday, or with friends or simply seeking shelter and peace, you are very welcome
The service starts at 10.30 am
On different Sundays in each month there is a Communion Service and an All Age Worship Service. Methodist or United Reformed Church Ministers or Lay Preachers lead Sunday Worship
